Improve your knowledge in methodology whilst enjoying London!

SCL International College offers a two-week language teacher training course, giving you tools and skills to effectively teach English to students from all over the world.

Classes take place in the mornings and in the afternoons, you'll participate in networking lunches and guided tours around London to get to know the city, its treasures and its history.

THE COURSE AT A GLANCE

This programme is designed for teaching professionals who want to reinforce the principles of ESL and ELT methodology for adolescents and adults whilst sharing teaching experiences with colleagues from all over the world.

Teachers will consolidate their understanding of the English language while developing resources and materials with different sets of skills from different contexts. With modules dedicated specifically to Business English teaching, this programme looks to give trainees the necessary tools to face the challenges of English teaching in the 21st century.

After a full morning of lessons and class observations, teachers can choose to join our networking lunches at school and explore the city with our afternoon excursions. During these excursions, teachers will get the opportunity to learn about London’s history and treasures from an ELT perspective. While exploring the city alongside our teacher trainers, they will learn how to enrich their curricula with materials from outside the classroom.
