SCL International College's origins date back to 2013 when it opened as The Stay Academy. In 2017, the company rebranded once again to become Stay Campus London and expanded to include four campuses, each one offering its unique character and personality, while also providing a consistently safe and supportive environment for international students.

In 2021, the school achieved accreditation to provide private further education to international students, leading to the school's rebranding as SCL International College. We now proudly offer University Pathway programmes to complement our existing portfolio of English language courses for Young Learners and Adult students.

We understand that a city as vast as London can appear intimidating to foreign students who might be traveling alone or visiting for the first time. That's why we strive to create a community atmosphere where everyone is welcome, and there's always a friendly face to greet you, have a chat with, or lend a helping hand.

We are proud to say that students have returned to our school time after time and have recommended us to their family, friends, and colleagues. We are also delighted to have been named a finalist in the industry PIE Awards for two years running as Accommodation Provider of the Year in 2020 and for the International Student Living Award in 2021.

SCL International College is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English as a foreign language in the UK. To earn accreditation, the school follow strict regulations relating to school buildings and facilities, teacher qualifications, teaching quality, administration and welfare. We are regularly visited by their inspectors.

Stay Campus London Private Further Education ISI Certification

PFE (Private Further Education) is a division of the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), which is an approved Educational Oversight inspection body authorised by the UK Home Office to inspect privately funded further education colleges and English language schools in England and Wales. Our status with PFE further reinforces our legal ability to sponsor international students to come to the UK on a Tier 4 visa in the UK immigration points-based system.

We are a member of English UK, the leading association of language schools in the UK, and we follow its rules of practice. Accreditation under its scheme, among the most rigorous in the world, demonstrates that a provider has achieved professional standards in its internal management, teaching, environment, resources, student welfare and safeguarding of those under 18 years old.

The Association of Language Travel Organisations provides a global platform for leaders and decision makers within the language travel industry to further develop and grow the industry through networking, professional development, idea and information exchange.

The British Educational Travel Association represents some of the biggest and best-known businesses across the full spectrum of the inbound, outbound and domestic youth, student and educational travel industry.

We are a registered examination centre for Trinity College London and have exams on-site at our school. Trinity is an examination board which offers graded and diploma qualifications across a range of disciplines in the performing arts and English language learning and teaching in over 70 countries worldwide.
